vmware - kali 下安装vmware tool. (遇到问题:failed to launch operation)

今天遇到kali不能用了。不能COPY / PASTE了。报错:failed to launch operation

基本没办法, 重新安装。

1. 进入kali

2. 卸载 vmware tool.   

$ sudo apt pruge open-vm-tools

3. 重启

4. ps -ef | grep vmtools ,确认已经删除完毕

5. 在vmware顶部菜单中,选择 重新安装vmtools

6. 会看到kali 立刻加载了一个 CD ROM 

7. 把该 CD 中的所有文件, COPY到本机的一个文件夹中。 (例如叫 ~/vmtools )

8. 进入到该文件夹, 可以看到 若干文件, VMwareTools-10.2.5-8068393.tar.gz  对该文件解压缩,到一个文件夹中。

9. 打开terminal ,  进入到上面的目录 。  sudo ./vmware-install.pl

然后按照过程一步一步来,基本就是一顿 回车。

到最后,安装完成。

记得运行命令:

$ /usr/bin/vmware-user  (到这一步发现就可以复制粘贴了,跨虚拟机)
$ sudo reboot      ( 为了稳妥起见,我们重启一下)

就可以了。
